As a standard Practice CPRI will release information only about 'pay hunts' such as
Prospect Place Mansion, Trinway Ohio.
The Players Club Theater, Circleville Ohio.
Moundsville Penn, Moundsville W. Va.
Mansfield Reform, Mansfield Ohio.
And other cases such as these... We will NOT release any information on Private Residence Cases, nor will we post any evidence of them unless we are given the permission of the owners of the property, even then it is up to the founders, Kristy Hinkle and Niki Bailey; as to what limited information we will post!
Though this is not the practice of many groups out there, it is CPRI's wishes that we do not exploit any person(s) in need of an investigation, by releasing certain information, if given written consent from the homeowners, the most you will hear from us on a private case will be, personal exp. reported activity, city/town and state in which the home is located, EVP recordings, video and photos (if applicable) As of this time, there are NO private residence cases we are going to discuss with anyone out side of the CPRI team!

In the Servants Quarters on Friday night Julia, Toni and I had entered the Kitchen area. Standing in there for about fifteen minutes talking and looking around. Leaning up against the wall taking EMF readings. I felt a soft caressing motion on left cheek. Immediately this went cold, and then a pain occurred in that spot. With-in another two mins or so.. The pain faded and the left side of face went numb.
Later in the night, there were no further personal experiences to report on my end, until bed time. While attempting to sleep in Constances bedroom. There were many noises witnessed by Niki, Julia and Myself. Walking noises from the ball room, in the hall way and on the stairwell. Julia and I had a hard time sleeping due to other personal Exp. That won’t be discussed.
Sat. We spent all day reviewing Evidence and singling them out. The second half of the investigation started around 8pm getting a lot of the equipment out, and dividing into teams. We were completely exhausted and still wanting to continue with the investigation.
In the basement, co-founder Niki Bailey, investigators in Training Shannon and Nicki Z. were investigating when they all three saw a shadow man walk across the basement hall from one room to another.
Steve from GIG reported being tapped on the shoulder.
Group One in the Ball room.. The Founders. Niki, Steve, and I were walking around the ball room.. We put a ball down and told the room, ‘If there are children here, come play with the ball.’ We walked away and came back a few mins later and the ball had moved about a foot. This time, I set a vid. Camera on it. Put the ball on it’s marker, attempted to ‘debunk’ it anyway possible.. Such as walking by, bouncing the floor near the ball.. Mellen jumped and stomped around. We tried slamming the door, and blowing on the ball.. We were unsuccessful.
After a minute.. We walked away again, and 4 mins. After setting up the camera, we came back to find the ball moved. We reviewed tape, and 3 mins and 24 secs after we walked away… We caught it! The ball rolled a few inches, and stopped just as you see our flashlights from the other side of the room.. Heading towards the ball..
Through out the rest of the night, there were experiences by several of the other investigators. After bed again is when the walking and talking started up again, Andy and I had a hard time sleeping and listening to the walking didn't make it easier. We went out side, on our way down we found Steve in headquarters. We asked him about it, and he had heard the same thing, and wondered if it was us.
The next morning, investigator in training, Toni was making up the beds in the rooms, when she was tapped in the chest. She ignored it at first but then she was tapped again in the back of the arm.
All and all, this was a GREAT investigation with a few personal experiences, and a lot of evidence to put forth.

This investigation was uneventful, activity wise. I did however make some new friends and look forward to seeing them all again soon.

Activity Report
The Ohio State Reformatory. Mansfield, Ohio

Arriving at the Reformatory at a little past 7pm, On Friday July 18th 2008.
Being as we had a very small group of people *only 11 attended* we had the entire prison to explore, it was a relaxed day. We took some group pictures on the stairs of the Reformatory while we waited for the last members to arrive.
During the tour we had a few minor experiences and took some pictures. After taking a photo in the basement, I believe I saw what I thought was a child.. I gave a minor chase into another room where I lost it. Upon later analysis I discovered an unexplainable picture taken in that spot where I saw the child. It appears to be a black Mass of some kind.. The photo has been reviewed by no less then 8 people from different groups who came to the same conclusion.. Unexplained.
Part one of the investigation kicked off around 10:30 pm Andy, 2 others and I started in the West Cell Block. This proved to be a hot bed for EVP. After Reporting an EMF spike, we attempted to make contact using a K-II meter. After asking that the K-II be lit up and explaining what it was for, a voice on the EVP asked “WHY?” it appears to be the voice of a female child.
About 20 mins into the investigation of the West Cell Block, an investigator and I both feel a strong presence, and then I see to the left of me a shadow moving fast out of view. Shortly after we heard a loud Bang. Did not catch the bang on audio.
After getting an EMF Spike of 1.8 on the EMF meter I try to track it down as it moves, An EVP says “Wait.” Soon after I say ‘Why are you running from us, you’re supposed to play with us.’ an EVP can be heard saying “Pick Me”
Walking through the upper levels of the West Cell Block the EMF spiked to 1.9 from a base reading of .1 - .2 an audible baby crying could be heard. This was caught on audio. At 42 mins in.
In the East Cell Block there were minimal experiences and only one EVP captured saying ‘Hear me now’ or ‘Hearing me now’
In the main quarters of the prison, where the warden lived, the EVP was not as active as the West Cell Block.. However there was one very big experience.
Per request of an investigator, My arm was grabbed, held and squeezed for aprox. One minute and squeezed harder per request and my Ok to do so. The grabbing did not appear to cause any indentation at the time it was happening, however shortly after the release of my arm, my arm got cold, and white marks appeared in the shape of fingers. Soon my arm became red in the area that was grabbed. My arm became sore like an over worked muscle on the back and tender to the touch in the marks shaped like fingers. With in an hour my arm started to show signs of bruising.
Solitary Confinement, I was paired up with 2 investigators for the last hour of my stay at The Ohio State Reformatory.
Activity and experiences were again a bit shy. A few EVP were captured, after running into the prisons volunteers, and working on the top floor; we headed back down stairs. On our way we all heard an audible woman’s voice. We asked out loud if it was a person, and heard and answer.. We assumed it was the volunteer, we decided to look for the volunteers on the second and first levels and came up empty handed. There was no one there.
Again on the main floor of the Solitary Confinement, I looked down a hall towards an IR camera at the end; at that moment I saw a black shadow walk right in front of the camera.
I gave chase only to find that the shadow went from a cell to a wall. I did not catch it on video as my video camera battery had died early on in this part of the investigation.
After that part of the investigation Andy and I called it a night and went home. It was nearly 6 am when we pulled into my drive.

The Roundtown Players Club Theater, Circleville Ohio

The Players Club theater provided no personal experiences or evidence the first time CPRI joined an investigation there, however, the second time around there were experiences ranging from sounds, smells, to even seeing full bodied apparitions from some investigators. Evidence gathered included one EVP and 2 photographs of a shadow person standing in a window.
The photographs seemed, 'too perfect' for my liking, so I compared them to 15 other photos from the same exact location at nearly the same angle and found the photos to be genuine.

Loveland Castle Event

Though Loveland Castle is an amazing place, wonderful, beautiful and historical.. There were no personal experiences on behalf of CPRI members, Myself or Shannon (aka Carter)
we spent a lot of time talking about our upcoming ventures with them. I relived Kris in the middle of the night and took over her and Mikes post hosting Crossroads Paranormal Radio for a while.
The live feed ran through out most of the investigation that night, but Carter and I left early in the night, as we had a 2 hr long drive home. We called it quits at around 1:30 am.

Prospect Place Mansion

After a long needed break from investigating, CPRI jumped back in the saddle by visiting one of our favorite investigation locations. Prospect Place.
Upon entering the mansion, we immediately noticed a different feeling about the place. The place that was once as welcoming and warming to us as our own homes, felt more like a cold, empty house.
We spent a lot of the time during day light hours setting up a massive amount of equipment, running a few tests that we had set up. Our investigation did start during the daylight hour, However most of the investigating took place after night fall.
We captured no evidence the whole night, No EVP, no photos or videos. We had a few personal experiences but nothing that we can report as 'evidence' as we did not capture anything on video/photo/audio.

Patterson Homestead
Nov. 13th 2009
Dayton Ohio,
Kristy Hinkle (Founder) and Andy Taylor (Lead Investigator,) attended the GIG Paranormal Investigation
of the Patterson Homestead, in Dayton Ohio, on Friday, November 13th 2009.
The investigation was a means of testing new equipment, theories and experiments. Using unconventional methods of invesitgating we were able to capture a few audio recordings of voices that were not those of the investigators in the Museum.
Very limited personal experiences on this investigation. The most notable was faucets in the men's restroom turned on by themselves while Steve Fink was standing there.
